Prayer at Northpark Christian Church

One of the greatest gifts that the Lord has given us is the ability to have a constant communicative link to him. At Northpark we believe that praying is an act of obedience to the Lord. We believe that prayer changes us and allows us to be more attune to fulfilling God’s desires.
At Northpark Christian Church prayer is a major priority and blessing that we welcome and encourage all our members and friends to take part. Our Lord wants us to seek Him, to want a stronger relationship with Him, and every strong relationship has to have committed, honest, and open communication.
There are many ways to start your prayer relationship with God, but most important is to just start talking. Bring it all to him. Your hopes, your dreams, your sorrow, your anger, your happiness, your excitement, and your fear. Everything. He wants to be in your life for everything.
If you have questions or want to talk more in-depth about your prayer relationship, please feel free to contact us using Prayer Ministry at Northpark Christian Church in the subject line.

Monday Evening Prayer Meeting

– Each  Monday evening starting at 6:30 pm members and non members of Northpark Christian Church gather in a group to pray. We pray for our church, for our families, for our communities and all that the Lord provides. “And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.” (Ephesians 6:18)
1 Church Initiative
-Our church is answering God’s call by partnering with KSBJ radio and other area churches as part of One Church One Day. Each congregation has committed to pray 1 day a month (24/7) for the Humble/Kingwood/Atascocita area. Northpark Christian Church is praying on the second Wednesday of the month.

Sunday Service Personal Prayer

-Each Sunday at the end of service time is set aside for anyone to come up for prayer. The pastor is available as well as prayer partners on side that you can choose from.
