about us
welcome to northpark christian church
Northpark Christian Church was founded in the early 1980s with a mission to create a place where the community could find a deeper connection to God and learn to love one another in a way that honors Him.
As a non-denominational Christian church, our purpose is simple: to love God wholeheartedly and to express that love by serving others with sincerity and compassion. We are dedicated to helping people experience true love, freedom, purpose, and salvation through Jesus Christ. Our journey has been rooted in these values, and we continue to grow in our mission to make a lasting impact in the lives of those we serve.
"A very friendly place with a pastor who is reaching out to the community. Everyone gives out such sweet hospitality. It's a good place to worship God."
-P. Venzant

What We Believe
The central ministry of the local church is the continuous imparting of the Scriptures to the people of God so they may know God and serve Him in worship and in ministry.
Listed below are the major truths that we hold to in a simple and concise form. These are the primary doctrines of the Christian faith and reflect the heart of the teaching and preaching ministry of the local church.
Regarding the infallibility of the Scriptures: The Old and New Testaments are the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, the Creator of all that is. See the following Biblical references.
2 Timothy 3:15-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21
Everyone sins and this results in separation from God.
Romans 3:23, 1 John 1:8-10
Jesus of Nazareth is both truly man and truly God. He died for our sins, was raised by the power of God, and is now in the immediate presence of God having completed by His sacrifice all that was needed to be done for our sins to be forgiven.
Colossians 2:9, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4
If we confess our sins, repent, and acknowledge and confess Jesus as Lord, then God sees the sacrifice of Jesus rather than our sins and sees us as clean. We are justified, seen by God as without sin, by God's grace and our faith in God's promise of forgiveness to us through Christ's sacrifice.
John 1:12-13, Romans 10:9-10
The Holy Spirit is one with God the Father and Jesus Christ the Son, is present in all Christians, and provides counsel and comfort.
John 14:16-17, John 16:13-15
Jesus will come to earth again in power and glory.
John 14:1-3, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
Baptism by immersion is done willingly by the believer in obedience to the word of Jesus. Baptism joins us with Christ and unites us with His Church.
Acts 2:38, Colossians 2:12
All Christians possess one or more spiritual gifts from the Holy Spirit. The Church welcomes the opportunity to pray with anyone for all needs including healing.
Romans 12:6-8, James 5:14-16
The Lord's supper(or Communion) is central to worship and we serve it weekly. Any person who has confessed his or her faith in Jesus Christ as Lord is welcome to partake with us.
Matthew 26:26-29, 1 Corinthians 10:16-17
-The spiritual unity of believers exists in our Lord Jesus Christ.
John 17:21-23, Ephesians 4:3-6
"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."
